A very sad day...

Dear 6 Emerald,

I am crying onion tears now that I have only one more day in your classroom which is as wild as a jungle but as warm as a woodfire.  I have enjoyed meeting all of you, and I think that you have taught me more than I have taught you.

Thank you so much for having me, for listening like a tiger on the prowl, for getting involved in my lessons as enthusiastically as if you were making mud pies, and for being perfectly normal, wonderful chimpanzees with a great sense of fun.  I will always remember you fondly as my first prac class.

My heart overflows with warm wishes for your graduation and the excitement year 7 will bring for you all.

God bless,
Mrs Emeleus

Raffle tickets

Thank you to all the students who have posted on the blog already.

Remember that I will put a raffle ticket with your name on it into a draw for a prize for every day that you post on the blog.  I will draw the prize on my last day at school, Friday 29 November.

If you have a prize suggestion, post it below.  I am thinking of things like a handball, some scoobies, a book, gel pens.  I will have one prize for boys, one prize for girls and one for all.  But I won't be telling you what the prize is until it is drawn!

Mrs Emeleus's visit to 6 Emerald

Today I have created this blog for our class.  You can visit it when you go home, to show your parents what you are doing at school, and to add your comments.  I will put extra clips and videos up from time to time that you might want to watch.

If you find something that you would like to share with the class, you can let me know and we'll talk about the best way to share your ideas.

I hope you enjoy visiting the blog.

:)  Mrs Emeleus
